Question
اَلسَلامُ عَلَيْكُم وَرَحْمَةُ اَللهِ وَبَرَكاتُهُ Dear Shaykh Ayaz, I do have query with regard to IMAN . Unable to get taqwa . Mind is filled with worldly things all the times , Overthinking and getting away from Mercy of Allah . Please suggest things to be done to gain taqwa and get attached to Allah . Will haram income affects in faith ?جزاك الله خيرًا

Wa'alaykumsalaam Wa Rahmatullah wa barakaatouh
May Allah give us all the sweetness of Imaan.
Brother, Imaan does not just come like that.
First of all, you have to ask Allah The Almighty to make your heart firm and steadfast upon the religion. Allah knows your heart and He changes it however He wishes.
So keep on asking Allah to keep you firm upon the religoin.
2) Read and understand the Quran and implement them into your life.
3) Practice the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in your speech, actions and judgement.
4) Make sure your prayers are all on time.
5) Make sure you haven't broken any ties of relationship with anyone
6) These things makes it easy for you to attain taqwa.
Taqwa is that you implement what Allah has sent upon in the Quran, have the fear and love of Allah, have positive thoughts about Allah always, seek Allah's forgiveness at all times, get ready to meet Allah and be content with what Allah has proportioned for you.
Of course if someone is indulge in haraam money, this usually does not brings tranquility and barakah in one's' life.
