Annoying/Irritating one's husband

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته Shaykh, I've travelled to my parents residential country where I've my exams...being with my family makes me ignorant of my husband although he's my priority which in turn makes him irritated and annoyed. We fix a time for vid calls but many a times I either sleep or get in other activities which leads to breaking the promise and leaving him disturbed. Am I sinning by doing this? He loves me a lot and I feel I'm undervaluing his love for me. I'm a sleepy person and sleep a lot...please help me out shaykh. Same happens to me with studies...i study in his presence sometimes and that annoys him as he wants me to be with him. جزاكم الله خيرا

If the husband allows you to be at your parents and study - then this is from Islam as well as his kindness -

Once he feels that he is being neglected without any reason, then this is dangerous - he loves you so much and you do not want him to go and search that care or love from somewhere else and this is one of the ways that many people fall into extra marital relationship.

Therefore, you have to accommodate his feelings as he does for you - if he feels neglected, this would cause more damage in the marriage. You have to make sure he is content and happy - that is why the wife is not allowed to fast any voluntary fast without the husband's consent, men are prone to feel neglected pretty quick if the wives doesn't give much attention.
