Jinn

As salaamualaikum shaikh. This question is a bit lengthy..but i request your advise. We have been staying in an apartment with our 1 yr old daughter for over a year now. From past 2 weeks my wife feels that there is a jinn in the house due to some shadows and some weird object sounds like packet movement etc. The most worrying thing is that my 1 yr old daughter feels very uneasy after maghreeb every day since this 2 weeks. She looks towards certain area of our house and gets frightened. Whereas when we look at that place. There is nothing there. Can you please advise what is the islamic ruling/guidance in this situation. Any surah/verse to make the jinn away. Or do we consider to vacate thr place?? Jazakallah khair.

I ask Allah to make things easy for you.

1) Please do read Surah Al Baqarah in the house as the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that the Satan runs away from the house in which Surah Al Baqarah is being read.

2) Remove any living pictures that are displayed and put in a drawer or somewhere else.

3) Make sure that there are no Music in the house.

Carry on the Surah Al Baqarah either read by your or the wife, i would advise as well to have the Quran on when you are in the house until you see a change.

4) Bring an Raaqi that can read in the house if it persists.

5) Consider shifting away if it continues,
