Question
Assalamoualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, What should I do if I missed a prayer? If I missed Asr prayer and its Maghrib time. Jazakallah
Answer
Wa'alaykumsalaam Wa Rahmatullah wa barakaatouh

Remember that missing prayer without a valid reason is Haraam. I know many people has taken this matter lightly because they believe they will just replace it later on. All salaah has to be done at its prescribed time as Allah ordained in Surah An-Nisaa.

“Verily, As‑Salaah (the prayer) is enjoined on the believers at fixed hours”

[al-Nisa’ 4:103]

If you've missed a prayer, you need to pray it as soon as possible.

How to replace it, some scholars differs in it.

If it's Maghrib time, you enter the Masjid, pray the Asr by yourself before the Iqaamah of Maghrib.

If the Salaah al Jama'ah of Maghrib started, then join them in Jama'ah with the intention of 'Asr salaah, and when the Imam completes his salaah, just add one more raka'ah to make it four. Then pray your Maghrib after with another congregation if any after. Praying in order is preferred by majority of the madhabs.
