Question
Is it necessary to say dua qunoot for the witr prayer if one hasnt learnt it . Can we make dua in our own words or those that we know.
Answer
Saying the du'a Qunout in Witr is a sunnah in itself. You may read the du'a and it is better or yo may omit it if you do not know.
If you do not know it, try to memorize it and read it in the Witr. You can also supplicate in your own language in your witr prayer and Allah knows best
