Give Zakaah and Sadaqaat

Salam shaykh
I have a controversial question
As you know my mom is follower of those green turban people
She's always pushing me to give my zakaah and sadaqaat to these people
I don't like to give them because they propogate wrong aqeedah
Mom says they are our people closer to our culture so they deserve and they are doing good work
But I have problem with their aqeedah hence my reservations
What should I do?

Walaykumsalaam.
In regards to whom you give your zakaah, you need to give it to those who deserve it from the poor and needy.
You mentioned you do not want to give them because they propagate wrong creed, do they deserve your zakaah? Are they poor or needy? If they are, then give them.
You are not asked to give your zakaah to their organizations, you are meant to give it to individuals who are poor and needy regardless their Aqeedah as long as they are Muslims.
